Professor Sinéad McGilloway is Director of the Centre for Mental Health and Community Research (formerly the Mental Health and Social Research Unit), Department of Psychology, National University of Ireland, Maynooth. She is a research innovator and leader, educationalist, public health/community psychologist and health services researcher, with many years’ experience in undertaking policy and practice-relevant health and social research focusing, in particular, on child and adult mental health and well-being (including families) and service evaluation. Sinead has led/is leading a number of large-scale cross-institutional and interdisciplinary research programmes and she has secured significant research funding from a wide range of prestigious sources. She has also authored (and co-authored) numerous publications to date including: international peer-reviewed papers; systematic reviews; books and volumes; book chapters; research and technical reports; conference proceedings papers; and other scholarly publications.
