Child Health Research Group

The CRN Child Health Special Interest Group was established in 2017 by people working in the area of child health research to explore further particular issues and opportunities arising in the sector. During the inaugural meeting, it was acknowledged that the Child Health area covered a vast spectrum of research and that a need for sub groups within the group could emerge. The group produced two bulletins one in relation to obesity and the other on healthcare transitions. Over time, however, the remit of the group proved too broad to be of value to its members, leading to recommendation by the CRN Advisory Committee to close the group in 2019. As a follow on, the Child Sexual Abuse / Child Exploitation Research Group was established in June 2019.
