What does a Data Curator do, and how can data curation help policymakers, practitioners and researchers to interpret and use research data? What do organisations and researchers need to think about when they are archiving research data?

In an interview with the Centre for Effective Services,  Ruth Geraghty, our  Data Curator, explains the role of a Data Curator, and what organisations and researchers can do to make sure that research data can be used in future.

Ruth speaks  about her work on the Prevention and Early Intervention Research Initiative, a project which involves archiving data from investment by philanthropy and government in 52 programmes and services for children and young people across Ireland and Northern Ireland.
